Evaluación de la comprensión de emociones en niños mediante el Test de Rorschach

Abstract

This paper has as main objective to evaluate emotion comprehension in children, main feature of the reflexive function, by means of the Rorschach Test. This was attained by choosing a 30- children sample who took the “Test of Emotion Comprehension” and the Rorschach Test. Results shown arise from the correlation between data gathered from both techniques allowing to identify certain Rorschach indicators (determinants/contents/locator/ calculation) that are modified in agreement with the comprehension level of the child’s emotion, and that, therefore, might be useful to evaluate him. In addition, these results show that children with a high level of emotion comprehension show a richer Rorschach protocol, thus deducing the presence of a greater amount of emotional resources in this group compared to children having a low level of emotion comprehension.
