Abstract

A descriptive study was developed based on a non-probability intentional sample composed by 265 adolescents, students in the Northern area of the Greater Buenos Aires with the
purpose of contributing to the knowledge about adolescent attitudes before disabled people, given that the relationship with them influences the point of view about the handicapped. Data show that students have a favorable attitude towards disabled people and that touch creates differences in the perception and interaction with them. In like manner, the relevance that variables such as motif and frequency of contact, sex, course specialization and type of school they attend to have at the time of expressing attitudes.
