The Metaphysics of Creation as a Philosophical Antithesis to Gnosticism

Abstract

In today's culture the topic of Gnosticism has come to the fore in two dimensions: the first, most notable, is the wide range of research that has occurred after the discovery of the Nag-Hammadi documents. The second, the most profound, is the somewhat hidden but real accentuation of the problem surrounding the theme of evil from the 17th century onwards in multiple philosophical and anthropological orientations.
