Journal Sections

Part I. International Chair on Natural Law and Human Person

Research articles or notes and comments that are related to the Chair will be published in this section, including presentations and communications presented at Conferences related to the Chair that, in the opinion of the Editorial Management, deserve to be published due to their academic relevance. The requirements are the same as for the "Research Articles" and "Notes and Comments" Sections depending on the nature of the text.

 

Part II. Research articles

Works that meet the following requirements will be published within this section:

That the topic discussed makes scientific contributions and offers novel concepts that enrich knowledge;
That there is coherence in the demonstrative or argumentative structure between the problem, the objectives, the method, the results and the conclusions;
That the bibliography is updated and relevant to the topic and that the text is unpublished.
Length: Works sent to this section may not be shorter than 4,000 or longer than 12,000 words.

Arbitration: These works will be submitted to the arbitration of evaluators in accordance with the respective procedure.

Originality: The research works proposed for this section must be original, and the authors undertake not to submit them simultaneously to another publication, nor to publish them without authorization from the journal Prudentia Iuris. The authors will state through the Journal's online management system, or by a signed letter sent, the originality of the text.

 

Part III. Notes and Comments

Short works on legal topics, jurisprudence or legislation will be published in this section.

Length: The length must be less than 4,000 words.

Arbitration: These works will be submitted to the arbitration of evaluators in accordance with the respective procedure.

Originality: The works proposed for this section must be original, and the authors undertake not to submit them simultaneously to another publication, nor to publish them without authorization from the Prudentia Iuris magazine. The authors will state through the Journal's online management system, or by a signed letter sent, the originality of the text.

 

Part IV. Documents and Chronicles

Documents and chronicles:

The Editorial Management of Prudentia Iuris will select for each issue those documents that it considers relevant according to the theme or problems related to the objectives of the Magazine, such as texts from the Magisterium of the Church, Declarations from the Faculty of Law or Corporations or Bar Associations. , or the multiple Legal, Political and Scientific Academies, etc. Chronicles of academic activities or of relevance to the field of legal research will also be included in this section.

 

Reviews

Reviews of recently published books will be published in this section. In principle, the works cannot be more than two years old.

Length: They may not be longer than 2,000 words (in principle no more than two years) with a maximum length of 2,000 words.

Review: The works, for inclusion in this section, must be approved by at least one member of the Editorial Committee.
