La esperanza mesiánica en el judaísmo hispano medieval

Abstract

In this work it is offered a general overview about the importance of the Messianic hope in the Hispanic Judaism along the Middle Ages. After a brief presentation about the remote origins of the Messianism, the study is really centered in that time, analyzing the interest that, at least since the Xth Century and along the Middle Ages, show the Hispanic-Hebraic intellectual groups about the coming of the Messiah. Another extensive chapter is devoted to the most popular demonstrations of the Messianic phenomenon in the Spanish Judaism.
