Hoy día, cuando casi todos llevan en el bolsillo un dispositivo que permite acceder a una cantidad de información equivalente a n veces la biblioteca de Alejandría, y que es potencialmente capaz de traducir y producir textos en cualquier idioma, incluidos los extintos o no existentes, la pregunta surge espontánea: ¿hay todavía necesidad de aprender las lenguas clásicas? Y, de manera más urgente: ¿a qué destino se encamina su enseñanza?
