"Knowledge management": the challenge of new economic ideas

Since 1990 new proposals related to the development and application of knowledge in the productive systems of enterprise organizations have been raised and also applied. The underlying idea, inspired by Schumpeter’s contributions, has been to put into operation mechanisms related to knowledge in order to maintain and develop the competitiveness between companies. All this, through the “management of the knowledge”.
